Good Sounds Home Theater has been designing, selling and integrating the finest in high performance audiophile and home theater systems since 1994. Based in Margate, Florida, we are family owned and operated which lends a personal touch to all of our systems as well as customer support that simply isn’t found at the big box stores. We represent many of the finest audio and video brands that the high-end home theater industry has to offer for our clients to invest in. We have a saying at Good Sounds that the best chefs start with the absolute best ingredients first and then create their dishes from there. We like to think our home theater systems have the simplicity paired with the excitement you would expect from a five star meal. Jim McGowan, Good Sounds Home Theater’s founder and president, is a dedicated audiophile and a lover of great music. Jim’s son, Dean McGowan, is Good Sounds Home Theater’s co-founder as well as our lead system designer. Dean is also the mastermind behind all of the system programming and integration. It is their enthusiasm, paired with the best video playback systems in the world that make for the basis of the home theater systems here at Good Sounds. For less money than ever before, Good Sounds can design a movie theater that can simply embarrass the performance you might expect to get at your local Cineplex while delivering and installing the system right in your own home. Runco – Runco currently makes the world’s only THX certified projectors at price points that range from a few thousand dollars to over $250,000 with their ultra-high light output SC1 DLP video projector. Runco’s claim to fame is their optics which optimize the image for 2.35:1 aspect ratio screens affectionately called “Cinewide”.
